Hey computer savvy people: What kind of flash drive or storage device do I need?
For all the computer savvy people out there: I have 33 digital voice recordings about 50 minutes in length that I want to back up. Is there any type of storage device that I can buy that will store them all? Thanks for your help!
P.S- Each recording is 50 minutes in length.
flash drive could possibly be enough but you will probably go over…..go with a “external harddrive” they range from 50-350 dollars
you would only need a 50-120 dollar one
probably around 100GB would give you a ton of room if you want a ton of room you could go with a 500GB external harddrive for around 110 if you want to be settled with memory for a long time go with a 1TB but they will be over 200
and just google external harddrive or ask at your local stores a lot of places carry them almost all
radioshack, walmart, meijer, best but, circuit city, target…..but for yoru recordings you didn’t tell us the format or size so i don’t know if they are high quality and take up a lot of room but there is no way your going to go over 250GB and i highly doubt you will even reach 50GB or for that matter 10GB but i still request getting the 160GB ones but look around because they are ranging in price some stores sell for 60 and another the same thing for over 100
hope this helps
