HELP? Spilled water all over computer?? Please click here?!?

I’m writing this from my other computer, but I REALLY need my Toshiba Lap-top to start working.I spilled some seltzer on the mouse pad, maybe like a mouthful. My computer shut off INSTANTLY. It would NOT turn back on. This computer is rather new. I got it in November. I can’t tell anyone in my family that it’s not working, don’t ask why. So I can’t get it fixed. I tried taking out the battery, nothing was wet there. So I took out the battery and turned it upside down. A little bit of water came out onto the screen, but not much, it wouldn’t turn back on.

K., i was gonna say the bowl of rice but somebody else did already and how would you get it in? try using a hair dryer on it.

If it still doesnt work after you try everything you could take it to a friends house and you guys could go to best buy, walmart, or somewhere where they repair stuff, your parents will never know (friend broke her ipod, me and her went to apple, got it fixed 4 months ago, her parents still dont know .
